Refund & Cancellation Policy

Mockup notice: Stripe explicitly requires that your website publish a refund/return policy before activating an account. The structure below works for both Stripe-billed plans (web subscriptions) and Apple-billed plans (App Store / IAP). Have counsel review before publication.
1. Summary
We want you to feel good about your subscription to NextTat. If something isn't right, contact us at support@nexttat.com within the windows below and we will work in good faith to resolve it.
2. Subscriptions billed directly by NextTat
For web-billed subscriptions paid through our payment processor ([e.g. Stripe]):
- 14-day money-back window. New subscribers may request a full refund within fourteen (14) days of the initial charge for any reason.
- Renewals. Renewal charges are eligible for refund within seven (7) days of the renewal date if you have not used the Services materially in that renewal period. “Materially” means having created or exported more than [N] scans.
- Annual plans. If you cancel an annual plan mid-term, you may request a pro-rated refund for unused full months at our discretion.
- How to request. Email support@nexttat.com from the email address on your account, with your account email and the approximate charge date.
- Processing time. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
3. Subscriptions billed by Apple (App Store / in-app purchase)
If you purchased a subscription or in-app purchase through the App Store, Apple processes the payment and any refund. We do not have the ability to refund Apple-billed purchases directly. Request a refund via reportaproblem.apple.com or through your iOS device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. If Apple denies your request and you believe there is an issue with our Services rather than with Apple's billing, contact support@nexttat.com and we will help where we can.
4. Cancellation
You can cancel at any time:
- Web subscriptions: from your account billing page, or by emailing support@nexttat.com.
- App Store subscriptions: from Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your iOS device.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You will retain access until then.
5. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Most billing issues are faster to resolve directly. We reserve the right to suspend or close accounts with unresolved chargebacks consistent with our Terms of Service.
6. Exceptions
We may decline refund requests where there is evidence of abuse, fraud, or repeated refund-and-resubscribe behavior. Promotional credits, gift codes, and discounts are non-refundable.
